Oxbury customer farm visits... A day on the farm with Oxbury New Gen customers, Callum James and Anna Lampitt of Haddon Farm!
Last year, we visited Haddon Farm to see farmers, Callum James and Anna Lampitt who have taken over the farm tenancy there. Oxbury's Product Development Executive, Sioned Davies then caught up with them at the BFREPA Live 23: The Free Range Egg Show 2023.
With the funding from Oxbury, they have been able to convert an existing 20 year old timber frame shed which previously housed 16,000 birds they then removed the flat deck equipment and replaced that with a multi-tier which has allowed them to develop to a modern-day system helping them utilise the bird space in the shed to allow an extra 6,000 birds within the same building.
